AUTUMN IN ARROWTOWN

Arrowtown is the prettiest little town in New Zealand (in our opinion) the whole year round. But in Autumn, it is absolutely breathtaking! Tucked in below the stunning peaks that surround the Arrow River and Bush Creek, the trees and foliage adorning the neighboring hills and riverbed turn vibrant shades of yellow, amber, scarlet, and crimson this time of year. Paying homage perhaps to the early gold mining settlers of the area from the mid-1800s, whose historical dwellings can still be explored at the Arrowtown Chinese Settlement Village.

This week marks the 33rd Anniversary of the Arrowtown Autumn Festival which brings in large numbers of locals and visitors from all across the world to take part in over 50 events across the week-long festival. Long held festival traditions like the Vintage Cars, Buckingham Belles, Shotover Country Music Concert, and Arrow Miners Band remain popular and new events are added every year.

If you're in the area, please drop in and say hello! We have plenty of Canada Goose vests, jackets, and accessories to keep you warm all winter long.
